I have experience and specialise working around trauma and childhood trauma. I provide in various ways to assist individuals who are navigating the challenging aftermath of traumatic experiences. My role involves creating a safe and empathetic environment where clients feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and emotions. I utilise a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to each persons unique needs this may include strategies to help them process their trauma and develop coping mechanisms, mindfulness practices to enhance emotional regulation, and narrative therapy to allow them to reframe their experiences.
For those who are dealing with unpleasant unresolved conflicts from their past I can tailor to work in a psychodynamic approach. I can assist individuals by exploring the underlining emotional and psychology factors that influence their thoughts and behaviours, and relationships. Through our sessions, I will help clients uncover patterns from their past that may be affecting their present experiences this includes delving into childhood memories, unconscious motivations, and defence mechanisms that might be contributing their struggles by fostering a safe and supportive environment. I aim to facilitate self-awareness and insight, enabling clients to understand themselves more deeply. Ultimately. This reflective process can lead to meaningful change and improvee their emotional well-being.
